About this game
As the sole survivor of a passenger plane crash, you will find yourself in a mysterious forest fights to stay alive against society cannibalistic mutants.

Build, explore, survive in this terrifying first person survival horror simulator.
Key features of the alpha
Enter the living, breathing world where every tree and plant can be cut down. Underground explore an extensive network of caves and underground lakes.

Cut down trees to build a camp, or start a fire to keep warm. Scavenge food to keep themselves from starvation.
Build a small shelter or a large ocean side of the fortress. Lay traps and protective equipment to maintain a safe perimeter.
Explore and build during the day. Defend your base at night. Craft weapons and tools. The bunker down for the evening or bring the fight directly to the enemy.
Protect yourself from the clan of genetic mutants enemies who have beliefs, family, morality, and that appear almost human.
Use stealth to avoid enemies, or bring them directly with crude weapons, built of sticks and stones.

Wood has been in development for some time, but now we need your feedback to make it even better. Our vision for this game is an open world full of terrifying gameplay options and the freedom of the player. We have come a long way, but still have a lot of features and improvements to make.

Here is a small sampling of what we hope to add to the game during Alpha:

Many more animals - fish, snakes, frogs and birds. We want to really bring the world to life with a variety of wildlife.
More options for trapping and hunting.
Expanded AI - We´re trying some really cool stuff for our AI, and we plan to keep it develops and improves on the alpha.
More areas to explore - with the passage of time will be added and unlock new areas and our cave system will continue to develop downwards.
More workable elements - Additional parameters that you can build and what is available for use.
Additional parameters of craft, combined more details and more interesting things to create.
New creatures - as we unlock more and more of the world and caves within the alpha we will also be introducing a lot of new terrifying creatures along with a few surprises.
Visual improvements - we want to continue to insist that it is possible, making the world look, feel and perform better.
Lots of settings and user interface polish.
Additional game modes, excluding no-enemies of the regime to cheat for players who want a more relaxing experience.
Multiplayer - we find the idea of co-operative play in this world is very interesting and we hope to implement in the form of co-op experience.
